Native Americans in Northern Dutchess County

Lake Warackamack in the town of Milan, Northern Dutchess appears to have had some significance for Native Americans as it shows up as a reference in surveys starting the first Patents in the 17th century, and was referenced in important future surveys in the 18th century.  Still in the process of gathering information.
